Michael from Dog Training Elite has been absolutely amazing to work with. From the very first session, his knowledge, patience, and ability to connect with both us and our dog really stood out. What impressed us most was how he helped us understand Cricket’s strengths and showed us how to use those to guide his training. After just one session, we could already see a noticeable shift in Cricket. He became more focused, more eager to please, and started moving out of that chaotic puppy phase. Michael doesn’t just train the dog. He teaches you how to communicate and work with your dog in a way that really sticks. Wow. I am very impressed with the training Annie and Oakley received at Dog Training Elite (DTE). Mitch and Tina are patient and attentive camp counselors/trainers. They did a great job helping Annie and Oakley to improve their manners and learn new skills. (Ms. Manners would be proud). Special kudos to Marcy who coached the dogs and me as we worked through annoying, challenging and bothersome behaviors at home. Marcy is an exceptional trainer. She possesses outstanding dog training skills, great people skills and exceptional communication skills. The girls are definitely starting to flourish as new behavior expectations are established and achieved. The combination of day camp and home visits is a winning formula. Wonderful organization to work with! Rod is such a thoughtful trainer! I loved that they came to your house to do individual basic training allowing for one-on-one training. The group classes are a lot of fun because you get to go to several different parks and locations instead of having to go to the same place. My border collie has a lot of energy and is easily distracted, and I was highly impressed with how much she improved in such a short time!

My dog Cannoli had amazing results with Dog Training Elite. He is about a year and a half we had already done training on basics but he was still very timid around new people and reactive at dogs we passed by on walks. With Dog Training Elite we had multiple trainers work with us over his first few sessions which was a great way to get him to overcome his fears of new people and people entering our home. For the second half of his private session we worked with Rich who was amazing with Cannoli. He was patient when Cannoli needed, he saw immediate potential with Cannoli. Rich really personalized the experience to Cannoli, his needs, and pushed him past his comfort zone in a safe and exciting way that has allowed Cannoli to become a confident dog. Having the trainers personal dog join some of the sessions was a great opportunity for us to overcome reactivity and was a great tool for Cannoli. Now we feel confident moving into the group classes!

Dog Training Elite has been amazing for me and my Cane Corso. A few weeks ago I couldn’t imagine bringing him to a park for a walk. Now we’ve been able to go out see new people and dogs. Azure and Bubba were very patient and helpful with us and I couldn’t recommend them more. Overall it was a little expensive but the ongoing group classes after the 1 on 1 classes definitely make the whole experience worth it.

We loved Dog Training Elite. Our golden, Levi, already had obedience training but we needed service dog training. Through the training he received, Levi passed his certification test and has now been on several trips with me. We're so grateful that DTE came to our house and also worked him in some public places to prepare him for public access. They also took care of his paperwork and license. Not only do they do their jobs well, but it's obvious they truly love dogs. The price was very reasonable as well for the service we received.

If you have an energetic pup who thinks the world is his personal chew toy and needs some excellent training, look no further than Colleen, Trevor, and the entire Dog Training Elite team. They are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in both the dog and the humans on the other end of the leash. They come to your home, send you report cards at the end of each training day, and — most importantly — teach you how to reinforce the training so it actually sticks. Our Reggie has learned a lot and is so much better-behaved as a result of his training. Thanks to the DTE team, our Reggie has gone from a rambunctious rascal who wanted to jump on and chew everything in sight to... well, a much more respectable rascal. Progress! I can't recommend DTE enough — they brought some semblance of order to our home, and we are "fur-ever" grateful. Dog Training Elite Northern Utah is the "doggone" best for my money! We couldn't be more pleased with the results!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Stephany, Ramiro and the team are so great! They took on two of our puppies at once! Both dogs will be service dogs and they worked very hard to understand the needs of our 2 sons so that they could train the dogs for them as individuals! They were VERY patient with the humans too! They are helping us work through all situations with respect and patience. They also do an AMAZING job work with my son who has severe anxiety! They made him feel confident and heard! Although everyone has been amazing, Marcy, Tina and Mitch worked very hard to prepare them during their days at the facility. Marcy has done the after visits and continues to be SO supportive and accommodating to our family's needs. BRAVO to the team at Dog Training Elite! Excited to see the growth that we will all see in the next steps of our training!
