Jeff was great with our dog Sera, she loved him and his dog. We are really excited to start training with him. Had our 3rd lesson with Meggie and it was very good she have us great advice. Meggie and Happy were awesome to work with and she is very positive. Finally went to a puppy socialization class with Jeff. It was really good for my puppy and really showed me what I still need to work on. Seraphina did really well and I was super pleased. I definitely have my work cut out for me though cause she could careless about treats. She just wants to play. She was definitely ready for bed last night and she's still tired this morning..LOL Jeff was out today and he was excellent with Seraphina. She is a very stubborn alpha puppy and he really helped me to understand how to handle her stubborn side. She is already listening better, but i am working on being the alpha in or relationship. I had to tie her to my desk cause I told her to stay and she kept leaving. Eventually I was able to untie her and she stayed and fell asleep 😴 💤 We all went to Lowes with Meggie and had a great class working on sit for duration and not breaking with distractions. Seraphina loves running through the big blue flatbed carts. It was very fun. Thank you Meggie. Just start the advanced obedience training and it has been worth it. This next step helps hold me and my dog more responsible. I have done lots of training in the past and I have learned a lot from DTE. Thank you Jeff.

This review doesn't have to do with training as much, it is about The company and The wonderful people who work there. This is my story. My name is Kerri and I have a dog named Scrappy. A couple of days ago my Scrappy was hit by a car! I was beside myself with worry because I didn't have money to go to the vet and Scrappy was in so much pain I stayed up all night with him. Morning came and I started calling anyone who would listen to me trying to find someone to help me with my dog. I called Dog Training Elite not paying attention that it was a training company not a vet. I told the secretary what happened and she told me to give her a few minutes she was going to call her supervisor and call me back. Before I could call anyone else Rachel called me, After talking to her for a few minutes she didn't hesitate she told me it would be a while but she would come to my house and help me. 5 hours later Ms Rachel and Mr. Daniel knocked on my door. God is Good everyday! Rachel asked my how I got their number because they were trainers not vets. These good people went out of their way after working all day came to my house, took their time and helped me take care of my baby. They didn't ask me for any money and stayed as long as I needed them too! These are the kind of people you want training your dog. They love their job, and I have made some new friends. My experience with Hannah at Dog Training Elite was everything I could have hoped for and more. I was feeling incredibly overwhelmed and defeated with my 8-year-old pit bull after moving from a rural community to an apartment complex with many other reactive dogs. Managing her reactivity became increasingly difficult, and it was starting to affect her quality of life. I truly wish I had invested in training sooner. Trying to handle everything on my own felt like too much at times, but Hannah was amazing throughout the entire process. She patiently answered all of my questions and clearly explained the reasoning and goals behind each step. Her guidance helped me feel more confident—not only in the training itself, but also in my bond with my dog. I chose the platinum package, and it was worth every penny. I’m really looking forward to attending group classes, and it’s reassuring to know that I’ll always have support if I need it in the future.

Jessica our trainer with DTE, came to our home for our last in home training session today. Through her direction and guidance Teddy, our 2 year old mini Schnauzer, has morphed into a well trained dog. He has a little more to go, ie. group sessions with other dogs, but we are confident Teddy will do great. Kudos to Jessica, our trainer💕 she is outstanding. Our dog is doing commands I never thought possible. She has the magic touch with our pup Teddy. So glad we have Dog Training Elite helping us. They are the best!

Miles is a young German shepherd mix (70%), with lots of energy and pushing 80 lbs now. He is the first dog we have adopted as a puppy and our first GSD. We didn't know he was a GSD when we adopted him from a rescue agency - he looked enough like a lab that we didn't question it for a few days. We signed up for classes locally when we adopted him and switched to Dog Training Elite when those classes did not go well and some GSD traits started to become problematic. DTE gave us a strong backbone for our training. The private lessons first taught us how to train him, while the group classes provided exposure to other dogs in a controlled environment, stepped up his training level continuously and provided a benchmark to see how our at home work was progressing. When we moved from MA to NH, Beth and Rene were extremely accommodating getting us into the group classes. We were able to continue making progress with Miles and he has turned into a really good young adult. Classes and pack walks helped Miles get used to being around other dogs, people and strange places without playing or being reactive and while still responding to commands. Plus the classes and walks are fun! They include games and some competitions to keep things interesting. Some of the drills were stressful the first time we did them, for example recall without a leash in front of the class, but Miles always surprised us with how well he did. We learned to trust Beth's and Rene's guidance about what Miles was ready to do. Using an E-collar and prong collar took some getting used to, but they proved to be valuable training tools. They provide an additional layer of control when we need it. Miles walks well on a leash, has decent manners and is well socialized. He is very friendly with both people and pets. We use the collars when we are going to situations where we may meet new people or dogs, but we don't need them to control him. We give a ton of credit to DTE - there were a few months when we not sure if we were raising a reactive GSD. The price of the classes were well worth the investment. We have put a ton of work in with Miles, both in class and at home, but he is honestly a great dog and we have no problems living in an apartment, around a bunch of other people and animals. We've since moved out of the area, but we hope to do more classes with DTE.

Matt has been great with George. He is patient and explains things clearly. Matt is flexible with scheduling. Matt answers questions in an understandable manner. George continues to improve and I am becoming a better dog mom.

Met with Jeff today at my home . He’s very personable . He met with my dog to see if he’s a good candidate for the program. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to have your dog trained , either in pet therapy or just to have more training with your dog .

We’ve had such a positive experience with Dog Training Elite! After adding a new rescue dog to our pack, we’ve struggled with reactivity and barking from both dogs. We’ve worked with other trainers in the past, but we’ve seen more success with our older dog with DTE than anywhere else. Both dogs have responded very well to the e-collar training. We appreciate how conscientiously the trainers use the e-collars, and we have been given clear guidance on what levels of the collar to utilize with certain behaviors. The staff has been amazing with both of our dogs and are clearly invested in their success. The group classes are incredibly fun and something we genuinely look forward to each week. I can’t recommend DTE enough for anyone who needs help and guidance with their dog.

After visiting several schools to train my dog as a service animal, we chose Dog Training Elite—and it was absolutely the right decision. At first, I wasn’t sure if this was something I wanted to do. But after training with Nathan and clint, it was definitely worth it! We have much more control over our dog. Magie is slowly turning an over the top wild reprobate into a responsible citizen. One week and it's night and early morning, not quite day yet. Following him with a pooper scooper has finally stopped..it's a good thing he is so cute.
