    Outstanding Dog Training Experience We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Kyle (and Cindy) at Dog Training Elite! They are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, professional, and genuinely passionate about helping dogs and their owners succeed. Kyle took the time to understand Palmer's personality and needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.     Exceptional! Carrie goes way above and beyond! Takes time with you, truely cares about you and your dog . Is totally willing to go at the pace that's most comfortable for the owner and dog to learn. Highly highly recommend!     Jeff and Dog Training Elite have been excellent to work with. Our 4 year old adopted Frenchie has a traumatic past, and is very reactive when she sees other dogs. Jeff has helped us understand her behavior and train her to be less anxious.

    Highly recommend DTE! Sydney was professional, patient, and knowledgeable. She cares about your dog, but also the priorities of your family and works closely with you to problem-solve and train your dog to fit right into your family lifestyle. Dogs can sense a good person, and I think it says something that our dog would always get excited when Sydney was around. We just completed the one-on-one sessions and look forward to the group lessons. When looking into different training options, we thought about sending our dog to a “boarding school” and I’m so glad we didn’t. DTE taught us so much about not just training for good behaviors, but strengthening the bond and trust we have with our pup. Ultimately, we hope to train our dog as a therapy dog and I feel we’re on the right track thanks to DTE.

    Matt and his staff are amazing. They are highly knowledgeable with all breeds and issues dog owners occur. We are very pleased with the training for our German Shepard. She is now going to group sessions and able to be around other dogs without barking and acting out. Not only do they train dogs, they help the owners understand why the dog is acting out and what to do to correct the problem. 100% recommend this business.

    Mary is a miracle worker! Our new puppy would cry bloody murder anytime we would hook the leash to her collar. Mary came over and put it on her and walked a little bit and the dog has been a great leash walker ever since! I cannot recommend hiring Mary enough. She knows her stuff and gives you tons of great tips to make life easier for you and your pup. She is truly the dog whisperer!

    Sarah was absolutely wonderful! We had 9 in-home training sessions, and the results have been amazing. Our puppy has learned an immense amount, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome.     Oz was 3 years old when we reached out to Dog Training Elite for help with reactivity and getting Oz to be neutral and obedient around other dogs and humans. Kyle, Cindy and David have been wonderful to work with as we continue our dog and human training journey. We can't recommend DTE highly enough no matter where a dog is at in their training journey. I have worked with tons of animal professionals in my previous career, including trainers, groomers, wildlife rehabilitators, veterinarians, etc. but never met anyone quite as in tune with how dogs communicate as Kyle is. And he's just as amazing at explaining it to the humans. He brings a rare kind of warm, calm, steady presence to all training sessions that puts everyone at ease, and we are forever grateful for the impact he's had on Oz and our little pack. 🙏🏼

    I spent years looking for good trainers and spent so much money. Trying to find trainers that actually do what they say they’re going to do and nothing compares to Dog Training Elite Kansas City. I wish I would’ve found them sooner. I could’ve saved so much money and so much time. Now I have multiple dogs in their program that should’ve been trained years ago if I just have found the right trainers sooner. If you are scared or questioning because of the price tag, don’t be I was the same way and I wish I would’ve done it so much sooner. Dog Training Elite Kansas City has been worth every single penny and a saving grace.

    The whole team at Dog Training Elite is incredible. This is our first dog, and Matt has saved our sanity multiple times- from providing some quick, free guidance on the phone to get us through the first few nights, to basic puppy training, to advanced dog training to stop unwanted jumping and nipping, and to the weekly training classes that are included with the training, our whole experience has been “elite!” We can’t recommend Dog Training Elite enough. We found the cost to be very reasonable given all the extras that are included. We continue to use their services and will definitely do so again in the future.

    Rhett and Kaitlyn have been amazing to work with. We were on the cusp of euthanasia due to our 6 year old dog suddenly becoming dog reactive to her dog siblings that she has always been around. Rhett laid out a training plan to help with our dog’s confidence and anxiety after meeting with her and us and it has really helped her. She is much less anxious and because of that feels less need to resource guard which was leading to the reactivity. I highly recommend them if you’re struggling with a reactive dog.

🐾 From Muzzle to Making Friends at Lowe’s! 🐾 When Baxter first started with us, he needed a muzzle. He was nervous, unsure of his surroundings, and let’s just say a little ornery. 😅 Fast forward, and look at this guy! ❤️ Baxter is now confidently hanging out at Lowe’s, practicing his Place command on new and unfamiliar surfaces, calmly watching the world go by, and even choosing to approach people for pets….with NO muzzle. That kind of transformation doesn’t happen overnight. It takes patience, consistency, structure, and a committed owner willing to put in the work. Baxter and his mom have both worked incredibly hard, and the results are showing! 👏🐕 This is why we do what we do. We work with ALL dogs…including dogs struggling with aggression, fear, anxiety, and reactivity. These dogs aren’t “bad dogs.” Many just need the right communication, structure, training, and someone willing to help them succeed. Baxter still has work to do, but he’s come an incredible distance in a short amount of time.
