My dog Oskar has been Mary's pupil for a few months now and the results have been remarkable. Oskar used to be a spoiled puppy with a lot of stubborn self-determination. He is now a much more mature companion that is soon to be a qualified service dog! Thank you Mary from Dad and myself!

I had a great experience working with Dog Training Elite. Paul was phenomenal working with and training my service dog. He worked to figure out the best way to train my dog and what works for her. After working with Paul my dog still loves seeing him and working with him.

I can’t recommend Dog Training Elite Milwaukee enough! Mary was very thorough in her initial consultation and made us feel confident that my dog, Honey’s, behaviors were both workable and manageable. Although Honey is an extremely snuggly Doberman-hound mix, she has a very high prey drive and struggled with relaxed leash walking, nipping, some reactivity and struggled to listen in general. I was worried that she was not the kind of dog that could comfortably go into dog-friendly spaces. After the very first session, we saw a noticeable difference in Honey’s listening skills and I felt a much stronger bond with her! After the 8 sessions, I now feel confident in my ability to read her body language, give commands to help her know what to do next and to diffuse potential triggers, and, I now feel confident taking her into dog-friendly spaces after having practiced with Mary. We’re very excited for group classes next!

Paul was amazing! He worked with our 2 year old dog Maverick, who is a lab/Beagle mix. Maverick has issues with anxiety and meeting strangers. Paul was very professional and bonded very well with Maverick and taught us how we can help strengthen Maverick's confidence along with basic obedience training. Mary has been training my sister's Aussie mix (Daisey) as a service dog. I have the privilege to watch and learn as well; Mary is AMAZING at what she does. Mary is very good at explaining what she is doing/why she is doing it with the dog(s). She comes to our home to train and we have attended a couple training classes in Madison, which is so fun to watch and learn! I would 100% recommend Mary for obedience and/or service animal training. Right after we got our puppy, we started looking into professional training. We came across Dog Training Elite Milwaukee. The variety of situations and learning opportunities with one-on-one and group training sessions were really cool. Although, expensive we took the leap of faith and signed up for the gold package. As of writing this, we just finished our last one-on-one session with Paul. We literally cannot say enough about the experience. Paul was awesome at training not only our puppy but us to be far far better dog parents ourselves. Looking back now, we know that the 6 one-on-one sessions with Paul were worth the entire cost of the gold package. We’re starting group classes this weekend and couldn’t be happier with our decision to work with Paul and Dog Training Elite Milwaukee.

Paul and Aninia are the best trainers in the world. You may think this is to expensive but it has been worth every penny. The first dog we took was by referral as she is a service dog. The other two we are taking are for obedience and have asked for Paul and Aninia specifically because Paul can get through to my husband and make him understand dog must obey. The last half of their training will be very hard as it will mean driving back and forth between Stevens Point and Glendale. We're moving. Happy to do considering fantastic results of first dog. I have Parkisons and so don't sleep well at night and she is my mobility service dog. So worked well to train then. I know we will get the same results on the German Shepherds. I have confidence in Mary and her crew.

My dog is my whole world, but he has developed some behavioral issues, such as being weary of strangers, excessive barking, and reactiveness to other dogs. Paul and Mary were amazing, I felt as if I was being instructed correctly and there was a complete change in behavior of my dog Goku. He was extremely excited puppy who did not understand how to control his excitement by week 3 he learned the basic obedience and continued on. Final week of private training Goku did not rush to the door nor jump on trainer. Without Dog Training Elite I would be feeling very anxious around other people and dogs but now I am completely comfortable with him being off leash around animals and people.

Dog Training Elite Milwaukee has worked magic with our mini bernidoodle and our Cane Corso. The doodle is being trained as a service animal and has amazing command response even as a young puppy(started training at about 6 months). The cane corso was a very good, well socialized, but highly independent animal. She did what she wanted and thought she was the boss. Since her basic training, she is much better behaved and listens to commands. I no longer have to leash her on walks through the woods, she never leaves my side, and comes on command when I let her run free.

We are thrilled with the experience we have had with Dog Training Elite! We interviewed a couple of dog trainers on the onset. I am so glad we chose Mary! She has been so helpful and professional throughout the process. She has gone above and beyond to make sure that we are successful in getting Coco to where she needs to be. After the second week Coco was extra stubborn while practicing what we learned. After emailing asking for advice Mary offered to come by for an extra session to work with her. We love that she came to our home each week with a slow build of skill set. We committed to the practice for 10 or so minutes 5/6 days a week and it paid off. I would highly recommend Mary.

We just finished up our six in home training sessions with Mary and we can’t say enough about how good of an experience it was. We started our black lab puppy at 14 weeks and feel like he has such a great foundation to grow and be the best pup he can be. Mary answered all our questions about the e-collar and made sure we were confident in using it properly. He’s already walking confidently on a leash in a heal position and has great recall off leash, along with all his other basic commands!

This was the first time I've owned an XL Breed, and the stronger he got, the more I knew I needed a trainer for help. After extensive research, we found Mary and DTE. She has been absolutely amazing. Our Great Dane stopped pulling and jumping after the first session! It has only gotten better since then. Mary came into my house with a young, energetic, and BIG Bernedoodle puppy who ran the household. This training method has changed my relationship with my dog, for the best! My 18 month Golden Retriever now behaves better than ever and I am bonding with him even more. He used to be unruly - jumping on people when they come in the door, nibbling on hands, and just generally NOT listening to any commands. We took him to 2 other training classes, and nothing seemed to work. Then when we tried Mary's training method, I saw immediate improvement! With other classes I always left confused and unsure of how to handle certain situations. With Mary's method, it is a lot more straight forward and easy to understand how to get your dog to listen. Started my puppy with DTEM at around 8 months old. Before starting training he would pull on walks, playfully bite, jump on anyone passing by and had a hard time listening (normal puppy behavior). Now, four months later we go on off-leash walks everyday! He never jumps or bites and has started following commands out of habit (without having to be told and without the use of e-collar). Mary is very knowledgeable about e-collar training and worked SO well with my pup! My only complaint is that I wish I would’ve started sooner!!

I'd like to take a moment to talk about my experience with "Milwaukee Dog Training", Mary, the trainer, to be exact. I was at a cross road in life and was advised to get a puppy/pal for the next chapter of my life. Due to the fact I was in the middle of several life changing operations and would be rehabbing them for 2 yrs, the timing was right. I picked the breed that fit my needs and finally found my puppy/pal and drove to get him.... in Maine. A handsome American Staffordshire Terrier, brindle in color. Now, I needed a LEGITIMATE/certified trainer to teach me how to be a responsible owner, even more so because of the breed. Due to my physical limitations, I qualified to have the puppy trained as a Service Animal. Mary instantly made me feel at ease with her presence and guidance, as she began to teach ME how to train and bond with my puppy, Tiberius. During the process, there were several times I needed "real time" advice on " what to do" at that moment and she always made me NOT feel silly for any questions or concerns I had and ALWAYS gave me sound advice. I even sent her pics of the 1st baby tooth I found! I can't count how many people have complimented Tiberius and how well behaved/trained he is!!! We signed up with Dog Training Elite for Bailey, our 2-year-old Labrador mix who was extremely reactive to other dogs while on leash. Mary taught her and us the basics and then tailored our sessions to Bailey’s particular needs and how best to address her reactivity issues. Mary is knowledgeable and creative in her approach. Mary’s love for dogs and commitment to improve their lives are evident. Bailey’s progress in six weeks has been tremendous, and Mary has provided us with useful strategies going forward. Bailey is much calmer on walks and is able to enjoy herself. We highly recommend Dog Training Elite. Mary has changed the life of our dog, Bailey for the better.

Mary at Dog training elite Milwaukee helped us get on the right track with our doodle. In just 6 short home sessions George learned the basic commands, and-is a much better listener. Our goals were to be able to walk George on a leash without pulling, enjoy our dog and play in the backyard without fear that he’d see something and bolt or accidentally run from us ( which happened) All of our goals were met. We are enjoying our dog outside, playing ball and running in the yard every day. What we learned from Mary was invaluable and it has made a huge difference. George loves to please us and we have a happy fun- loving dog! We couldn’t be happier!

We really enjoyed working with Mary in our home. We have a schnauzer who knew some commands but needed further training, especially barking when people come to our home. She is an excellent teacher, her methods are firm but friendly. I would definitely recommend her.

Our dog was really having issues with reactivity, pulling on the leash, and jumping on people. After one session with Mary, there was significant progress and after six sessions, our dog is much better behaved! Our dog really enjoyed learning new commands and working with Mary. She was very experienced and professional and I would highly recommend dog training elite to anyone looking to improve their dog's behavior.

Mary is a pleasant, positive person who looks for the best in dogs. She has an understanding of the differences in each breed and how to bring out the best in each dog. She is punctual, and teaches skills both the dog and owner can learn and continue to use. I would highly recommend her as your dog trainer.

We have a very high spirited doodle. Mary was helpful in giving us confidence in training our pup. After six in home visits and a few group sessions so far, we have seen a major transformation in our girl. Her spirit was never broken but she listens much better than before. We have gotten many compliments on how well behaved our dog is. Best decision ever to have Mary help train us!

DTE and Mary have been great from the start! No pressure to sign up and a convenient in home consultation to explain the programs she has to offer. Our pup would be a total mess without her program, I'm so glad we started him right away at 15 weeks! We are completing basic and advanced obedience and then heading for our Service Dog Certification. Our favorite part are the in home sessions which are convenient and help you get a jump start before heading into a group setting with distractions.

Mary is so much fun to work with and she is an exceptional dog trainer!

Mary was absolutely wonderful to work with, she was very personable yet professional and focused on the task at hand. She is extremely friendly and truly cares about getting quality results. She's an active community member and is changing lives for dogs and their owners in the Milwaukee area. I wish I could give her 10 stars, highly recommend!

Mary has been very helpful in training our puppy, Tucker. Before working with Mary, we didn’t trust Tucker fully outside to stay in our yard. After at home training sessions & group training sessions with other puppies in the park, Tucker knows to stay in the yard and to come to us when called. One call of “come” and Tucker comes back to us, even if he’s distracted in the yard. We can even let Tucker off of his leash to roam other areas, knowing that he will listen to our commands & come back when called. The group sessions have also been helpful because we trust that even when Tucker is socializing with other dogs or people, he will still keep his listening ears open to us and respond to us on the first call.

Overall the experience was fantastic! My dog Pippin (almost 4 yr old border collie mix) struggled with jumping on people, staying in one spot when told, and he had a bad habit of running away and not coming back when called. After going through his training with Dog Training Elite he has improved a lot and gets better with every session!

Mary was great to work with! When we started sessions with Dog Training Elite (DTE) Milwaukee, my puppy (Briar, a four-month-old Lab) could not sit/stay in one spot for longer than a few seconds and absolutely hated going for walks. She would spend more time rolling in the grass, barking, or pulling on the leash to go back home than actually walking. At the end of our in-home training sessions, Briar could come the first time I called her, sit and place with implied stay while I left the room (and still be sitting there when I returned!) and now walks on a leash (heel) without spending the majority of our walk laying down or pulling. We just started group training sessions and Mary has given great advice to help me and Briar work through distractions, so she listens to me in all settings and not just at home. Mary took the time to modify or break the commands into steps my puppy could understand. Not only did she work with Briar, but she also taught me how to work with my puppy and train through her avoidance behavior. After working with Mary, I am confident to continue training my dog by myself and Briar is on her way to mastering all the commands in DTE’s training program!

My dog, Rosie, a 2 year-old hound mix, was a chronic puller on walks and seldom listened to my commands. After a SINGLE DTE training session, no more pulling! I had been trying to eradicate this behavior for over a year, and it took DTE all of 45 minutes to correct. Absolutely wild. We're 4 training sessions in and Rosie is a completely different animal. She listens when I speak to her and has mastered really useful commands like "heel" and "place". We've even started walking off leash in the park at times. A dog that used to feverishly chase after any and every squirrel, bunny, or other dog now walks by my side and listens to my every word. In addition to Rosie being way better behaved, DTE has me, as a dog owner, feeling way better equipped to continue training on my own. I used to think I knew what I was doing but have since learned the numerous errors of my ways. Thank you, Mary and DTE Milwaukee!
