Carrie is such an amazing training. She is so kind and understanding. She really knows what she is doing. She is really going out of her way to train my puppy. I would definitely recommend dog training elite especially if you have Carrie!

Our dog Rumi absolutely loves working with Dog Training Elite. We decided to get Rumi in the hopes that he would be a service dog for our Son who is diagnosed Autistic. He immediately started picking up on the training and it is thanks to Carrie!!! She is an excellent trainer who REALLY REALLY knows what she is doing and you can tell she loves doing it. It has been an exceptional experience so far working with Dog Training Elite and will recommend to anyone who asks.

Carrie has done an amazing job helping our German Shepherd relax at the front done, become more obedient, and friendly. I love how DTE comes to your house to work with your dog to help where it’s needed and tailors training to your needs.

Guinness has responded so well to his training with Carrie at DTE. The instructions have been clear and the amount of progress our dog has made in three weeks is amazing. We have a 6 year old Shih Tzu/Bichon who did not get along with our 17 month old daughter prior to this experience. Guinness was also never formally trained prior to becoming a big brother. Carrie has helped us in so many ways more than just training our dog, but answering our questions about safety helping us learn how our daughter and dog can coexist without us worrying. Would definitely recommend Carrie and DTE to anyone! It is definitely worth the money for obedience training and we are happy with our results.

We really appreciated the in-home training as this was so functional for what we needed to practice. We've had a great experience with Carrie! She is very knowledgeable and great at what she does. My dog is a very stubborn bull terrier that I've had trouble training and communicating with. All of my other dogs when told to jump would ask "how high?" while my current dog instead asks "why?". Carrie has helped to decode Stevie's language and get through to her in a way she understands. Much of our lessons have been spent training ME rather than the dog and its really working. I've seen incredible progress in only 3 lessons and look forward to continued training.

We had a great experience working with Carrie at Dog Training Elite West Michigan! Our Mini Australian Shepherd, Mocha, is incredibly smart and full of energy, but as a puppy he definitely liked doing things on his own terms. Carrie helped us understand how to work with him effectively and gave us practical tools we could use every day. What we appreciated most was Carrie's patience, encouragement, and genuine care for both Mocha and our family. The training was easy to follow, and we've seen a huge improvement in Mocha's focus, responsiveness, and overall behavior. Mocha is still the fun and nergetic Aussie we love, but now we have the confidence and skills to help him be successful at home and in public. I was impressed with the information that I was given and how well my dogs responded to the training sessions. They are broken down into easy to follow commands a few at a time so as not to overwhelm my dogs. The behavior change is impressive and I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to help their dogs learn to be the best they can be.

Dog Training Elite West Michigan has been transformational for our family! We've been working with Carrie for a few months to take our two Ausiedoodles to the next level. Very effective training and teaching techniques! In home private training is more than worth it. Our high energy puppy has responded so well we will never have another puppy without this training. We’ve had a wonderful experience working with Dog Training Elite! We have two large, energetic dogs with very little formal training experience, but just a few sessions with Carrie has brought huge positive change to my dogs. The private at-home sessions have been amazing for each of my pups to get the care and attention they need, and I’m continuously surprised at how well my dogs respond to this training method. Ozzy and I started training with Carrie in January 2025, and I can honestly say I am a new person. My life has blossomed. Ozzy and I have learned how to be a team, how to look after one another, and how to communicate to one another. Carrie with Dog Training Elite West Michigan is amazing! I highly recommend her. When we adopted our dog, Charlie, from the humane society, she was so afraid that she was hiding under a table and wouldn't even look at us. She has been afraid of everyone that comes into the house and we have not been able to take her anywhere with us as she was too afraid to get out of the car and was afraid of everything around her. We finished our last private lesson today with Carrie and Charlie has come so far. We went to Lowes last week and out into town today. Charlie did so well. Initially, she was a little anxious, but when put to work, she listened and focused on us and was able to successfully get through the lessons in public with confidence. That was huge! We are so excited!!! At first, I was a bit concerned about the E-collar, afraid it would make our afraid/anxious dog worse, but it did not. We tested the collar on ourselves before putting it on the dog. It gets your attention, but it is not harmful. The E-collar was a great tool in training Charlie and she learned so quickly. She never showed any signs of fear or of being hurt by the collar. I am so amazed and pleased by Charlie's progress as well as all we have learned about handling Charlie under the direction of Carrie. Group classes weren't even imaginable previously, now we are ready to take Charlie and are looking forward to them. Charlie's progress is truly amazing. She is now in a state that I previously only dreamt about. The training has seemed to also create a much tighter bond and connection between us and Charlie, which is so wonderful. Carrie is wonderful to work with. She is very professional and has been very patient with us and Charlie. She is great at communicating and answering all our questions. She has wonderful, upbeat energy and we looked forward to our weekly classes with her. She has a lot of knowledge and is very talented with dogs. I will always be grateful to Carrie for helping us get a confident, well trained dog that can go places with us.

My life has been forever changed by this training. My service dog and I have learned how to communicate with one another, trust one another, and be a team built on mutual care and love. I’ve learned so much about myself and I would recommend this training for anyone interested in training their dog.
