Dog training elite has a great program. They not only trained Tonka but our family as well in how to help us reinforce the training session throughout the week. By demonstrating the techniques and then empowering us to take over allowed us to go from not having people over to our house to having guests. Nathan was great with Tonka and you can see he wants the best for him. Great experience, especially if you do the homework.

Clint has done such an Amazing job with our German Shepherd Puppy Jax. From the first session it's been so much better in our household. Jax being a puppy wanted to bite us all the time. We tried everything but he wouldn't stop. That was until we hired Dog Training Elite and Clint was the trainer. I Love the fact that the come to our house to do the training so you can see what and how they do the training. If you are having any issues with your dog, please reach out to them. We’re very pleased with our DTE experience. Through our private sessions we worked with Nathan, who did an excellent job at focusing on not only on our dog, but also teaching us how to be better handlers. Our puppy, Dazzle, has grown miles in confidence and handler focus, and we’re now able to take her on adventures without stressing about her anxiety! I had one on one sessions with Clint and he did a phenomenal job!! This experience has been worth every dime!! I am the Assistant Director of 911 and working on having a Therapy Dog in Dispatch and this has been a fantastic experience. It is so nice to have a dog that listens and does what you say!! Clint understands the dog and knows when she's "done" with training.

We adopted a Siberian Husky puppy from a shelter. She is full of energy and super destructive. When I learned that we would be using an e-collar for the training I was a little concerned at first that perhaps it would be harmful to our puppy. What I learned was completely the opposite - the e-collar does not hurt the dog and it's super effective. I honestly don't even know how we would train her without it. Clint is amazing! When he came to our house to work with both of our Siberian Huskies he was patient and thorough and used a discipline I have rarely seen. If you're worried about the e-collar - don't be. It doesn't hurt the dog and it helps them understand boundaries and commands. You should call Dog Training Elite. There is no other service you will need! They work with service dogs and hospitals and are trusted 100% in the community!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Nathan and Clint. When we first started, Tucker wouldn’t let either of them come near him—he was reactive and nervous around strangers, and I wasn’t sure how far we’d get. But thanks to their patience, consistency, and expert approach, Tucker is now a completely different dog.
They took the time to build trust at Tucker’s pace, and the results speak for themselves. I can now take him out in public, around new people, and he stays calm and under control—something I never thought possible just a few weeks ago.
If you’re struggling with a reactive or anxious dog, I highly recommend working with Nathan and Clint. They gave Tucker the confidence he needed, and gave me the tools to support him every step of the way.

Dog Training Elite NE Indiana has been an absolute godsend for me. I rescued a Staffordshire/Pitbull mix almost 2 years ago and only recently started seeing protective/aggressive behaviors that concerned me. My husband and I called and they set up a meeting. We ended up going with them, and I am SO grateful we did. I am ENJOYING walks with my dog (previously those were exhausting with pulling and fear of being able to control her). We can have people into our home and we actually worked through several of her unusual fear responses to different things in the home as well. I am SO proud of her, and SO THANKFUL that my husband and I made this investment into her for our family. I feel like these tools can be used for any other dog that we might get in the future, and having a lifetime of help with this dog is huge so that we can continue working on the commands that Dog Training Elite taught us.

Our experience with our St. Bernard was amazing! Nate was great with our girl Elly. She progessed from a crazy puppy to a well-behaved dog. I was not a fan of e-collars before this but I'm a believer now after being trained in how to use them properly. I would recommend Dog Training Elite to anyone who wants a high quality experience with their dog.

I ordered the Premium package and trained all 8 one on one sessions with Nathan. He was very intuitive and kind. His training and advice was very easy to follow and easy to execute and worked wonders. Hestia is a Rottweiler and prone to stubbornness but she has been following commands rather quickly with his help. This was my first time getting professional training for a dog and I really could not be happier with the results I've gotten from Dog Training Elite. I am very much looking forward to attending the group sessions held at my local parks and having a wonderful dog with excellent manners!

We recently adopted her from a local rescue group knowing she likely had survived some difficult situations. This resulted in her exhibiting a good deal of anxiety, reactivity, and aggressiveness, especially with strangers. We quickly realized video tutorials and online training classes were not going to be enough for us to help her unlearn the poor coping behaviors she had developed and we needed help.
We were so happy to discover DTE! Clint and Nathan are amazing! From the moment Clint step into our house the first time, through each individual training session, and now the group classes, they both have shared their knowledge and skill to give us the tools we needed to help Cleo learn how to manage her anxiety and become a calmer, more pleasant and well-behaved pup. We saw positive changes in her immediately, and with regular, consistent application of the techniques they taught us, she is now a totally different dog. We couldn't be more pleased!

Please use this service if you are in need of a good dog trainer!!! Clint was so great working with my dog. She was very ill-tempered and suffers from separation anxiety. She had biting issues and was very temperamental to others and other dogs. When I inquired with other trainers they were not helpful and did nothing but throw kibbles on the ground. Clint on the other hand honed right on to the issues and helped me greatly when all other avenues seemed lost, especially when evening walking my dog was difficult. I was completely grateful for his fast service and the patience he had with my dog. Thank you Clint and Elite Dog Training for helping me and my dog!

My dog was very anxious about a lot of things. I tried independently to help him, but I wasn't getting results. This company has shown me techniques that have now gotten us to the point where my dog is getting so much braver. Nathan was patient and reassured me that even my dog, a little older, a rescue, and with severe anxiety, could be helped. He was right. I love that now that personal training is over, I can get in group classes, which helps my dog get more socialized and confident. I can email with questions that might come up. This is a great company.

When we reached out to Dog Training Elite Fort Wayne, we were desperate for help in training our 7 month old stubborn French bulldog. He is such a sweet soul but his behaviors were exhausting and nothing we did seemed to work. Within a week of requesting a consultation we were signed up and working our first session. We noticed a huge improvement immediately and continued to be overjoyed with the progress our puppy made. We are finally in a place where we can really enjoy him and he can do so much more with us now! It has been truly life changing.
We had Nathan for all of our private sessions and he was wonderful to work with. We cannot thank him enough for the time and energy he dedicated to Porkchop’s training. I would highly recommend reaching out to Elite and working with Nathan for all of your training needs!

My two older dogs 10 and 8 had never received training and really needed some help - I needed some help - and within a few sessions and I really saw a transformational change. I feel much more comfortable taking my dogs out in public. On walks.

We had a fantastic experience with Dog Training Elite Fort Wayne! Our 5-month-old English Shepherd didn’t even know her name or how to wear a collar before we started training. Nathan and Clint worked with us over six sessions, and the transformation has been incredible. They not only helped her learn commands but also taught us why she behaves the way she does and how she responds to different situations. We learned what behaviors to watch for and how to set her up for success. Each session was informative, and they were always available to answer questions, review commands, and provide guidance for at-home training. Our little Georgi had a great time learning from two great trainers, Nathan & Clint. They both loved on Georgi while training her and she looked forward to the training.
They were very clear and consistent with their commands to Georgi and with explanation of the commands to both my wife and myself.
We are able to continue our training throughout the week with ease.
The 5 weeks flew bye and we look forward to the park visits on Saturdays.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a stronger relationship with their puppies.

Nathan was my trainer and he was great. My dog is smart, but easily distracted and very stubborn. Nathan was very good with my dog. He was very good at explaining how the training works and giving me good tips when my dog was being challenging.

We had a Soft Coated Wheaton who needed help with some behavioral issues (aggressive towards other dogs, barking, walking, etc.). Dog Training Elite has helped tremendously. The in home training was great for our whole family to learn together. Also the in home training helped our dog learn in a familiar environment (full of the usual distractions). Nathan the trainer was always kind, patient, and helpful in answering all of our questions. Nathan has taught our whole family tools and commands to help our dog improve tremendously with his behavior issues. We highly recommend Dog Training Elite.

I got a golden retriever puppy September 2023. This pup was scared to get in a car & did not like walks. I hired Elite to help me with training. They were awesome!! We have recently wrapped up our 1 on 1 training sessions with Nathan from Elite. What a huge difference he has made in our young German Shepherd! We regularly receive compliments on Betty’s manners and impulse control. For our previous dog, we used another local trainer for a 5 day boot camp at their facility. We started training with another trainer and it just wasn't working. Our girl wasn't catching on and she wasn't happy. We met a very happy Dog Training Elite customer and after their glowing review we immediately signed up. In just a few weeks Clint helped us take our girl from 'not so trained' to walking in a heel OFF leash! Her behaviors went from "meh" to 'what a well behaved dog!". She is happier and more confident. DTE is a wonderful family owned/veteran owned dog training company that exceeded our expectations. The in-home training started when our puppy was 5 1/2 months old. We are so thankful we started her young Clint has a real gift with animals training and customer service. Our puppy went from Jumping on everyone, play biting, face licking and chasing grandkids to being very well behaved. At Seven months old the grandkids can walk/give her commands, she helps round up the chickens without chasing them or barking at them. She goes to work with me and sits in “place” for an hour at a time when told to go to place. We are working so Hope will become a therapy dog and possibly dual purpose service dog for me for a medical condition. We cannot say enough good things about Clint and his company. We highly recommend them for any type of training.

We have a feisty Rottweiler ( year and a half old) and have been through several trainers. Dog Training Elite has given us true results. They are the real deal! One thing I really have appreciated is the consistency in training. Part of the time we worked with Clint, the owner— and he is fantastic, but then we also had Nathan, and we didn’t miss a beat. Nathan is every bit as well-versed and it helped having different people working with our dog.They are firm, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable.It is well worth the money. Don’t go cheap. I started my 15 month old German shepherd with Dog training Elite around 6 weeks ago, and Nathan has been amazing!! We (family and friends included) have all noticed a huge difference with Bear already. We used to have to lock him up in a bedroom when anyone came over, however this weekend we had my sons 5th birthday party and I brought him downstairs to see how he would behave, he was perfect. He was still ornery and excited, but he didn’t bark, lunge or even act nervous around anyone at the party (and there were a handful of people he did not know). I was even comfortable enough that I took off his muzzle and let him socialize for a while. This was huge for us! We definitely would not have gotten this far without Nathan and dog training Elites’ help. I’m excited to continue with the free lifetime group classes to keep him on the right path!

If you have any thoughts at all about training, I highly recommend Dog Training Elite. Nathan worked with my 5 year old German Shepard mix and I can tell you after just 1 session he was like a different dog. This was a life changing experience! My dog in 5 sessions is so well behaved. You have to put the work in each week and it is training for you and the dog. We haven’t even got to the group sessions yet which I am so excited for! Thank you Dog Training Elite and Nathan for such a wonderful experience!

Coco is a 4 year old pound puppy part beagle and who knows what .so loveable and so misbehaving until Nate showed up at our door and what a difference 5 weeks made she sit in place, she heels on walks, she is there at the word come .and Nate gave us the tools we needed to help her along. In the past I've tried several different training methods and Don't waist your time and money I've met all 3 of the trainers and they all are great but Coco loves to see Nate

Dog Training Elite is an absolutely incredible training company. My dog is more well behaved than he has ever been and is more responsive to my commands and needs. Clint is incredibly personable and incredibly well informed on best practices. Hope is very in tune with the emotions of the dog, helping the dog to be more comfortable with the new experiences. Nate has a wonderful public training method, really challenging and putting the learned skills to the test. I purchased the platinum package and would say it is worth every single penny. I can’t say enough about how positive this experience has been for both myself and my dog! I have a 3 yr old German Shepherd who is anxious, reactive and aggressive. From my first phone call with Hope to 4 weeks in with Clint in training this has been both very educational and super comfortable experience with noticeable results. I have gone from feeling hopeless to feeling in control. I called around to various places and what drew me to DTE was their very kind, caring and positive ambition to help. The only thing I would change would be to have called DTE much sooner! I would recommend DTE to any dog owner with a new puppy to an already problematic dog and especially to those with breeds who can easily get out of hand without the proper training ! You won’t be disappointed, evaluation is free and they come to you !!! 5 stars plus for sure!

My Splash (standard poodle) is a rescue who was surrendered my the Amish, he was a breeder and had no training what so ever. Dog Training Elite achieved results on our very first session. If you are looking for dog training you need not look any further. Clint and his entire team are all amazing and were a treat to work with. They are very flexible with training schedules and their methods are very effective. They were helping us with obedience and preparation for therapy testing through the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. After completing Clint's training we felt very confident and capable going into the test. The DTE therapy test was very useful and had us well prepared for the ATD test. The DTE test is comprehensive and more than just preparing us for testing really had us prepared to safely work the dog in the therapy setting. Dog Training Elite was a last resort for us and our Shepherd, Anubis. I reached out to DTE with limited hope. Clint responded that evening and we set up the assessment discussion. Clint explained how the training worked what would be expected of everyone. He then explained the training packages and cost breakdown. There were payment options available and explanations for everything. Clint was very patient, knowledgeable and always respectful to us and our dog. We got Hazel as a puppy last June and after a year, we decided we couldn't keep living the way we were. She is very smart, but even more stubborn. She refused to listen, was impossible to walk, and wouldn't stay off our guests. Hope came to our house, discussed the training, answered all our questions, and got us signed up. 10 minutes into our first session, I knew we had made the right decision. Hazel was always happy to see the trainers and ready to put in the work. She would smile the entire time she was working with them. Week after week, we were reminded that we made the right choice. They take the time to answer every question we have and work thru items we may be struggling with. They have given us a foundation that has allowed us to keep working with her on various items. After Hazel completed her final class, we decided the program could help our 3 year old with severe anxiety.

I can’t explain the difference in my dogs life since starting DTE. My dog had an issue with aggression which prompted me to look for training. It’s not only given me control over him, but also given him more confidence in my commands.

Athena our 3 yr. Old Corso/Pit mix was territorial and dog reactive. From the assessment Clint was upfront and honest about the potential of Athena not being able to interact with other dogs even if we went through with the training. Clint with DTE was able to come into our home and give us, the owners the tools and training needed to help our dog with these issues. Clint was also able to help me with my anxious behaviors while handling Athena to help her be a better dog. We can't thank Clint enough with DTE for helping not only Athena but us as well. Dog Training Elite has helped us train the dog of our dreams. Clint is fantastic, and his methods work. Our 10 month old mini schnauzer is very well behaved on and off leash. She’s great in public places, she’s a pleasure to be with, and people are always commenting on her good behavior. It definitely takes practice and repetition, but it’s worth all the time and $. We earnestly tried reward-only training, and it couldn’t touch the results we’ve gotten working with Dog Training Elite. I wouldn’t get another dog without enrolling them in the program. My pup son Zeke is two year old German Shepherd that I rescued back in October. When I got him, he was very dog reactive and the shelter I got him from wasn’t sure and didn’t seem confident in his ability to be around other dogs and honestly neither was I.
But man oh man did Mr. Clint and his Dog Training Elite program quickly change my perspective! During our one-on-one sessions we worked on various skills but because Zeke is/was reactive to other dogs Mr. Clint brought his dogs to our sessions and worked with Zeke to reduce his anxiety and build up his confidence around other dogs. Mr. Clint honestly also reduced my anxiety and built up my confidence as an owner.
When we did our session at Lowe’s and PetSmart, I was beyond amazed that Zeke could care less about the other dogs. He didn’t bark, lung, or even try to sniff another dog. Now we are in group classes and Zeke continues to amaze me. My family and friends are also amazed at how well trained he is and I say that was nobody but God and Mr. Clint lol.

Clint Frank
Owner & Lead Trainer
Clint is a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, having honorably served his country with two distinguished tours in Iraq. After his military service, Clint pursued his passion for physical education, earning a degree in Exercise Science from Ball State University and a master’s degree in Sports Performance. His expertise led to a successful nine-year career as a high school PE teacher and athletics coach in strength and conditioning.
A lifelong dog lover from Indiana, Clint grew up surrounded by these incredible animals, making his transition to a career centered around dog training a natural evolution. Clint shares his love of the outdoors with his two dogs, a chocolate Lab named Kamo and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Takoda, who also serves as Clint’s service dog. Together, they enjoy activities like hunting—especially duck hunting—and spending time in nature.
Family is at the heart of everything Clint does. He and his wife, Cassie, an experienced educator, are the proud parents of two energetic sons. Clint enjoys coaching his kids and watching them play soccer, basketball, and baseball, cherishing these moments with his family.
Clint and Cassie are thrilled to have their whole family involved in their business and are passionate about helping clients build strong, positive relationships with their canine companions. They look forward to meeting you and your furry friend and being part of your training journey!

Cassie grew up in a small Indiana town and had dogs her entire life. When the time came to look into getting her first car, Cassie’s parents said she could pick out a used car or a puppy and a hand-me-down car. Cassie, of course, chose the puppy (a dachshund named Charlie). Cassie graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Elementary Education. While in college she met Clint, now her husband of eight years. Like most newlyweds, they decided to get a puppy. Kamo was quite the rambunctious chocolate lab. However, with training from Clint, he was an obedient puppy in no time! Shortly after Kamo entered their lives, their family grew by two sons (Scout currently 3 years old, and Palmer 5 years old). Cassie has taught at the elementary level for ten years and is excited for the new learning adventures ahead.

Nathan is a loving husband and father. He values honesty, loyalty, and good friendships. Perhaps that is why he loves dogs so much, as they are the definition of loyalty and affection. Over the years, Nathan has owned several dogs. Currently, he enjoys the companionship of a sweet terrier mix named Wrenly, who is smart and eager to learn, and a big fluffy Pyrenees mix named Gracie, who takes a little more encouragement.
He has been married for 20 years to his wife Elissa and has three teenagers, Trace, Cole, and Samantha. When not spending time with his family and dogs, he is also a scheduler and mediator at MindCAP Cognitive Advantage and loves spending time outdoors. He is excited to work with dogs and their owners, to help them develop the skills they need to live peacefully and confidently in their homes and communities.
