So my experience is unique in that it turns out after the consultation we could not benefit from their service because they are not offering individual sessions and only packages. We have had our 10-year-old lab mix since he was only three months old. He is super friendly and already 100% trained. However, this winter, he fell down the deck stairs on the ice and is now afraid to go down those stairs. Because of the lay of our land, those stairs and the basement stairs are the only options for him to get outside.
Both are now extremely challenging because the dog is afraid. We have been having a really hard time, trying to remedy the situation. We wanted a professional to help rebuild our dog’s confidence. Matt came to our house and immediately our dog took to him. Matt’s knowledge , connection and expertise regarding dog behavior is truly evident!
Matt also took time with us to walk around the yard, familiarize himself with the property and then he patiently explained the program with us. As I said, our dog is older and very well trained, so the package based business model is not well suited for us. I would, however 100% recommend this company (and Matt!) for families whose pet needs dedicated training and behavioral modifications. They truly seem to be a very professional business that sincerely cares about dogs and their bond with their humans!
