Jaime has been fantastic with my dog. He explains the reasons behind my dog’s behavior and how to go about redirecting him to the desired response. Jaime has a true gift with dogs.

Working with Jaime at Dog Training Elite Academy has been an incredible experience. Over the past five months, Jaime has helped our 1-year-old pug, Buster, grow from an energetic pup into a confident and capable pet therapy dog in training. Jaime’s patience, knowledge, and love for what he does truly shine through in every session. We are so grateful for his guidance and for the new opportunities Buster now has to make a difference in people’s lives.

It turns out you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! I reached out to Dog Training Elite on behalf of our CEO to train his 2 grown adult male dogs (one of them to be a therapy dog and the other to focus on his obedience). Both dogs are thriving and the joy the therapy dog is bringing to the senior homes is so endearing to witness. Dog Training Elite goes beyond their incredible trainers… the schedulers are a dream to work with, as well. Seriously, these are the people to go to! My boss and his wife are so happy with their experience and highly recommend this team (and I do too!!)😀

Remarkable, results driven personal training for you and your dog! We've been working with Betsy and Jaime since adopting our Mastiff puppy, and we couldn't be happier. The team is very personable, professional and knowledgeable, and they tailor their training to the goals you set for you and your dog. I have had dogs my whole life, and this is by far the best behaved, well-rounded pup I've ever had - all thanks to DTE and their attentive, personalized training. The best part is the skills they have taught me that have helped me help my Mildred be the best she can be! Yes, you have to put in the work, but if you do, and follow their guidance, you will succeed! Mildred is now 9 months old (and huge!) but so well socialized with both people and other dogs, and her obedience is amazing. Some told us that "you can't train a Mastiff" but this team is so experienced and knowledgeable I've no doubt they can help any pet parent achieve the results they seek. Lastly, there are other trainers who turn dogs into robots with no personality - this team clearly loves and respects all canines and works with each individual dog with as much patience, love, and passion as if it were their own. Highly recommend!

Jaime is great! He is very knowledgable and patient teaching me and my dog. Both me and my dog has learned a lot and my dog is much better. Highly recommend for anyone that would like to train their dogs.

Dog Training Elite Lancaster: I can't overstate the dramatic change in my dog since Jaime and Betsy engaged in training with her. Prior to Elite, we had our puppy in private training, with mediocre results. I was skeptical that Elite would be able to get her to the level we wanted. Literally after one lesson, we began to see results. By week 3 it was DRAMATIC! Jaime and Betsy provide the tools and coaching. You need to do the work also. But if you do, the results will overwhelm you!! Almost as important as training your dog, Dog Training Elite trains the handler and gives them the skills to understand successful methods. We are so grateful that we found Betsy and Jaime. Remarkable trainers!!

Dog Training Elite was simply amazing! Working with a 6 yr old Dachshund is no small feat, but Betsy came in and from day 1, my dog’s behavior had improved. He’s less reactive, less anxious, more confident, and more obedient and has just continued to get better. He’s going to have a much more fulfilling and exciting life since we decided to train with Dog Training Elite.

Choosing Dog Training Elite was the best decision I could’ve made for my dog and my home. I have a 75lb pitbull who struggled with obedience. My home began to feel chaotic. I didn’t enjoy having guests over. After many hours of research trying to find the best training that suited us, I decided to go with Dog Training Elite. They first do an evaluation before you commit to anything. Just from the first session I learned so much. I looked forward to every session. Jaime is amazing. He worked with me and my dog during all of our at home sessions. He helped me understand my dog’s behavior more and the proper ways to correct it. By the last session I had a new kind of confidence and trust in my dog. I now enjoy having guests over again. Our bond became stronger. I know I can take him just about anywhere now and not get embarrassed with his behavior. We still have our group classes to go but I can’t wait to continue this journey and keep building that confidence and trust.

We hired Dog Training Elite Lancaster to train our two Corgis, Hitch and Hanna. We really wanted them to be therapy dogs but they were both a bit too independent and energetic and so I didn't really hold out much hope. But 3 months with Jaime and Betsy training both us and the dogs made our dream a reality. Both dogs passed their Good Canine Citizenship exam last week and will now be able to accompany me on my visits to amputee peers at the Reading Rehab Center and Reading Hospital!

Dog Training Elite not only saved my dog, but it brought the PEACE back into our home! DTE is far from cookie cutter, and they made sure to focus on our specific needs and concerns. When we hired Dog Training Elite, we were in desperate need of help. Despite being a dachshund owner for almost 20 years, a new baby added a differently level of stress. Our doxies Otto and Ollie were gentle with the new baby, but so very territorial with incessant barking anytime they heard a delivery truck or when visitors stopped by, often waking the baby from precious sleep time. Betsy and her team were the salve to our situation. The team worked with our schedule, were extremely patient, and gave us the tools we needed to be successful with our doxies. They brought experience, knowledge and professionalism to every conversation and meeting. We are so grateful to Betsy and her team! Our baby is sleeping soundly again!

Working with Dog Training Elite has been a fantastic experience. Betsy is the best! Not only did she train my dog but she helped me become more competent as a dog owner and continuing training on my own. Over a couple months of training Betsy helped us train Ranger to be more responsive and obedient especially when off lease. He is now a Certified Therapy Dog and passed the AKC Good Citizen Test! Highly recommend this team if you and your pup need help with training. They work great with your schedule and can really make a quick impact!

I researched dog training options when I purchased a new Labrador Retriever puppy 18 months ago. The philosophy and methods of Dog Training Elite appealed to me, and their practice of providing training sessions at my home made so much sense as it gave them a detailed understanding of the puppy's environment and my unique challenges. From the first moment Betsy came to my door, my then three month old Lab ADORED her. Betsy not only has wide and extensive experience with dog training for dogs of all ages, she also understands the characteristics and learning styles of different breeds, and she truly loves dogs, which makes them immediately trust and respond to her. We could not be more pleased with Dog Training Elite and recommend them to all our friends.

I can not say enough about Toni and Betsy! I have had dogs all of my life and this is the first time that I am so Proud to have a really well behaved dog.
