Personalized Behavior Modification Training Process
The trainers of Dog Training Elite understand that each and every dog is unique and we have worked hard to develop a comprehensive dog training program that eliminates aggressive behaviors that can be applied to various dog breeds. We will work with you and your dog together, ensuring that your dog understands you are the one in control. By completing our training program in your home, we are better able to understand the underlying causes that may be triggering your dog’s aggression. By eliminating fears and anxieties, we can work with your dog to develop an understanding that aggressive behaviors are unacceptable. We never use punishment in any of our training programs as punishment has been shown to actually increase aggression in dogs. We have had 100% success in eliminating aggressive behavior in dogs using positive reinforcement and obedience training.

Our Balanced Theory
We base our training around the "Classical Conditioning" model (a.k.a. "Pavlovian" or "respondent conditioning"). This includes developing conditioned or automatic reflexes to commands. In its simplest form (after proper conditioning), when the owner says "sit," the dog automatically sits without thinking about it. I moved from Houston to Corpus Christi in December 2023 and was very excited to see that I could continue our dog training in Corpus.
